PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: October 12, 2026
K'Kanae Signing Services ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the mobile notary and loan signing services we provide.
Information We Collect:
We collect information you provide directly to us when you call, text, email, or submit a booking request through this website. This includes:
-
Contact information — your name, phone number, email address, and mailing address
-
Appointment details — the date, time, and location of your requested signing, and the general type of document involved
-
Service details — whether you need a general notarization, a loan signing, or a mobile appointment, and your service location for travel-fee purposes
-
We may also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit this site, such as browser type, device type, and pages viewed. This is standard website analytics data and is not used to identify you personally.
What We Do Not Collect or Store Through This Website
-
We do not collect or process payment card numbers through this website.
-
We do not upload, store, or transmit images or copies of your notarized documents through this website.
-
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
-
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
-
Schedule, confirm, and perform your notary or loan signing appointment
-
Contact you about your appointment and respond to your questions
-
Calculate and quote your travel fee based on distance
-
Maintain our notary records as required by Texas law
-
Improve our services and this website
-
Notary Records Required by Texas Law
As a Texas notary public, we are required by law to create and retain a record of the notarial acts we perform. Under Texas Government Code Chapter 406, that record includes details such as the date of the act, the name of the person whose signature was notarized, and the type of document. Because this record-keeping is a legal requirement, we cannot delete or alter those records on request while the applicable retention period is active.
We do not retain copies of your documents themselves unless you specifically ask us to.
When We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
-
With the company that engaged us. If a title company, escrow officer, lender, or signing service arranged your appointment, we may report completion and signing details back to them as necessary to complete the transaction.
-
When required by law. In response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when required by a government agency with lawful authority.
-
To protect rights and safety. Where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our business, our clients, or others.
-

This website is hosted on Wix, which may collect and process data under its own privacy policy. If this site uses embedded maps, scheduling tools, analytics, or a booking form provider, those services are operated by third parties and governed by their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review their policies.
